The Bullion Chair,
Waiting Area Visualisation.

project type.

3D Visualisation

This scene came about from reusing an existing scene from a previous set of visuals (Indoor Garden Bar & Lounge project) as the layout of the visuals. The chair being shown is a bespoke piece designed at Inside Out Contracts for a casino in central London. The chair is detailed more in the Furniture Design section.

The setting was to simulate a more high end dining environment in the background and a waiting/reception area in the foreground. The latter being the area for the Bullion Chair prime location (best not suited for a dining area but rather the cocktail/waiting area for the restaurant/bar environment. A simple colour palette was used to contrast between the different areas and to show off the chair in suede in a royal blue with accompanying fringe.

Overall this project was nice and simple with a chance to try out some different materials with the marble of the statue behind the chair being a great one to experiment with Dirt material. This chair's fringe was made using Vray's Fur setting to simulate the many strands of the fringe. Rather than having to model and reproduce each individual strand which would have been not only time consuming but would make the model extremely heavy due to the vast amount of fringe. I am extremely happy how the image came out with lots of hidden details for the user to see not only the focal point of the The Bullion Chair.

This project was part of a body of work at Inside Out Contracts.
